MacDella Cooper "liked" my fashion profile of her

Okay, this made my day. About a month ago I wrote a fashion profile of supermodel and Liberian presidential candidate MacDella Cooper. I was really happy with it - it was one of the more interesting articles I've written for News Growl. And let's face it, MacDella has a fashion style that is at once totally unique and amazing.

But I'm just some random blogger doing her thing. I don't really expect the people who I write about to ever react to my prose - no matter how incidental the reaction.

Over the weekend, though, MacDella liked the tweet from the News Growl Twitter account that had pushed out the original blog post. And then, when I went a bit fan-girl from and tweeted about her like, she liked that tweet too.

This means that besides having a totally amazing life, MacDella Cooper is pretty fantastic. It's the first reaction on social media to any of my fashion profiles from any of the people I'm writing about. Maybe there will be more? Gosh I hope so. It does make me think I need to be careful about what I say in my pieces from now on!
